CAROLINE FLANAGAN |
Caroline is a consultant to the Space Doctors team. An independent business psychologist, she uses qualitative research methods including semiotics and discourse analysis to gain insight into culture and communications as a platform for strategic change. She was previously Associate Director with Added Value, with particular focus on semiotic insight and its application to marketing and organisational development needs. Prior to that, she worked in service business consultancy, bringing together the disciplines of marketing and HR to leverage the central role of employees in delivery to customers. She began her career as a graduate entrant with IBM, working there for nine years in project management and consultancy. Caroline has worked on projects for a wide range of corporate clients including Procter & Gamble, Cadbury Schweppes, Levi Strauss, Unilever, Barclays Bank, HMV Group, Unisys, Shell and British Airways, as well as a number of cultural and government bodies including the National Portrait Gallery, the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, the Teacher Training Agency and BBC Worldwide. Caroline holds an MA in Modern Languages from the University of Oxford, a BSc degree in Psychology from the Open University and an MSc in Occupational Psychology from the University of London. Email
