MARIAH HARTMAN |
Mariah joined Space Doctors in December 2008 to specialise in the application of semiotics to marketing and brand strategies for clients, helping them effectively leverage the differentiating insight from semiotic and consumer analysis. Mariah is also responsible for client development to expand the international reach of Space Doctors. Mariah recently completed her MBA at Oxford University's Said Business School, where she specialised in Marketing for Cultures and Societies, and Social Entrepreneurship. Her studies included working for a private-public partnership in the Gambia helping small-scale farmers tap into new markets through tourism. Prior to her MBA, Mariah spent 10 years as a marketer for Biotech and Pharmaceutical companies, most recently as Associate Director of Marketing at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics in the Bay Area of California. In this role she was responsible for product development, product launch and management, customer insight development, product and company brand strategy, as well as long term strategic planning. When not at work Mariah enjoys travelling and competing in triathlons. Her most recent trip was 8 weeks in Southern Africa, where she was captivated by the dunes in Namibia, intrigued by the delta in Botswana, and mesmerised by the wild coast of South Africa. Email
