It takes a certain type of enquiring mind to be a good fit with the work we do here at Space Doctors. We consist of Academics, industry trained Semioticians and people who have worked with brands and marketing, as well as people who are simply very good at what they do.

Gareth joined Space Doctors as a cultural and communications analyst in September 2010. Prior to this he was a senior analyst at Practical Semiotics and latterly worked with Space Doctors as a freelance semiotic consultant.

Gareth has written projects on lots of different things for lots of different brands and companies. He particularly specialises in food and drink culture, technology and digital communication, and emergent aspects of entertainment and youth marketing.

Gareth has a first class degree in English literature and philosophy from the University of Leeds. He has a masters in sociology and cultural theory from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
