Space Doctors PTE Ltd – Semiotic and Cultural Analyst (Project Director / Associate Director Level)
We are looking for an enthusiastic, insightful and motivated insight specialist to join our small but thriving team in Singapore.
As an experienced insight professional you will have 5+ years’ experience working with cultural insight, semiotics and/or other qualitative and ethnographic research methodologies. You’ll have proven expertise and a real passion for uncovering rich, powerful cultural insights and shaping these into compelling stories for clients and brands.
As somebody who is passionate about on regional cultural difference, you will possess a deep curiosity for Asian cultures and a fascination for how culture is changing and evolving and how that is impacting brands and communications.
As a proactive and organised individual, you will ideally have experience managing multi-market research projects. We will be looking for somebody who can manage analysts across the region, integrate cultural understanding from a number of sources, and identify cross-market insights that can positively influence brand performance and communications.
We are looking for somebody with an experience of semiotics and cultural methodologies, as well as someone who is keen to participate in methodology development, interfacing cultural insight techniques with other approaches, experimenting, and trying out new collaborations.
As a confident networker and relationship-builder, you will possess an appetite for understanding client needs through face to face encounters, championing our agency and our methodologies at events and conferences, and ultimately contributing to the winning of new and repeat business for Space Doctors in APAC.
Finally as a team player you will be willing to work as part of a tight and focussed team in Singapore, whilst collaborating regularly and internationally with a larger network of colleagues based in the UK and an analyst network spread throughout the APAC region and the rest of the world.
